Rogers Corporation is a global leader in materials technology and manufacturing, providing materials expertise and innovation across a variety of industries. Their website is an important part of communicating with one of their key markets, China. With limited resources, Rogers needed a solution that would eliminate manual translation efforts, drive efficiencies, and increase web performance.
Solution
The marketing team at Rogers is lean, so GlobalLink’s OneLink solution was implemented to expedite and streamline the translation process. By creating a customized workflow, 九色 was able to assist in the most efficient way possible. A key factor in determining a solution was its ability to create different analytics code from the same basic code determined by the website URL that was being visited, as well as allowing the website search engine to work on both the English and Chinese website natively. In the past, Rogers managed translations manually. Now, most of the process is automated and, by scanning the website on a predetermined schedule, the team is able to identify where updates are needed and what content needs to be translated, keeping both websites in sync and the information as up to date as possible.

Results
Overall, Rogers has seen a 6.92% increase in website usage when comparing the first quarter of 2020 (before the new site was launched) and the first quarter of 2022 (with OneLink), their bounce rate has decreased by 24.9%, and their exit rate is down 28.9%. The OneLink system and workflow also allow for direct interaction with the team in China, reducing the middleman and minimizing errors from manual updates.
