Quebec¡¯s Charter of the French Language designates French as the official language of the province and guarantees citizens the right to be informed and served in the local language. Because of this ordinance, translation services were a critical concern to A|X Armani Exchange as the retailer prepared to open its first regional store in Quebec¡¯s Carrefour Laval mall. ¾ÅÉ« translated a range of materials from English into French, such as in-store signage and large employee manuals.
